My name is Javier Pereda. I am a PhD researcher in Web Science at the University of Southampton. I have a background in Graphic Design, Multimedia and Marketing. My work is deeply related to empower users; especially the ones on the low digital literacy spectrum of users. Moreover, I have been experimenting with a wide range of technologies such as 3D scanning & printing, electronic prototyping, Internet of Things and Tangible Interaction, among others.
In this blog I write about some of the visual and technologic experiments that I get to play with. Most of them either already come from an open source or creative commons, or will be showcased to promote its use by someone. Therefore, if you would like to use something, either just credit me or the original source. If the code or whatever you need is not there, just send me a message.
The blog contains three main groups. The Wrestling experiments that I developed, another section for other type of experiments and some tutorials that I have written. Therefore, if you would like to know more about my research, I have a specific research blog for that. Otherwise, welcome and select your desired section.
